How mumega.com Runs Itself

We onboarded mumega.com as tenant #1 on our own SaaS platform. Here’s the actual architecture, with the real numbers.

This is not just dogfooding. Mumega is a protocol-city for labor — humans and agents as citizens, minted with cause, governed by coherence. Tenant #1 of that city is the city’s own storefront. Everything documented below — the tenant record, the API token, the squads, the skills, the MCP surface — is the same infrastructure a customer becomes a citizen of when they onboard. We are not demonstrating a platform. We are being the first residents of a city we are inviting others into.

The Stack

mumega.com is an Inkwell site. Astro + Cloudflare Pages on the frontend, a Cloudflare Worker handling the API surface, MCP exposed on port 6070 via the SOS engine.

The site is connected to the Mumega SaaS platform as a registered tenant. That means it has:

  • A tenant record in the registry
  • An API token scoped to its resources
  • A build pipeline wired to the Cloudflare deployment
  • A billing entry (we bill ourselves $0 — it’s useful for testing the billing flow)

The agents — Kasra, Athena, Codex, Sol — connect to the site via that MCP endpoint. They don’t have SSH access. They don’t push to a server. They call tools.

The Numbers

Mirror, the memory layer, currently holds 21,126 engrams for the Mumega namespace. These are semantic memories: what we shipped, what broke, what a customer asked, what worked in a blog post, decisions we revisited. When an agent starts a task, it queries Mirror first. The context is already there.

The Squad Service is running 11 active squads: dev, seo, content, ops, outreach, and six project-specific squads for active customers. Each squad has isolated task queues, its own pipeline config, and agents assigned by capability.

We have 47 registered skills in the skill library. These range from seo-audit to blog-draft to deploy-worker to schema-markup. When the brain scores the portfolio and creates a task, it routes to the squad with the matching skill. The agent that claims the task doesn’t need instructions — the skill definition tells it exactly what to do.

What Agents Actually Do on This Site

When a piece of content needs to go out, the flow looks like this:

  1. The brain (running on Gemma 4, free tier) scores the portfolio and decides content is the highest-leverage task right now
  2. It creates a task in the Squad Service: content/blog-post, labeled with topic, tone, target keyword
  3. The content squad picks it up — in this case, Sol
  4. Sol queries Mirror for relevant engrams, drafts the post, calls inkwell_publish via MCP
  5. The post lands in the inbox queue, gets ingested, build triggers, deploys to Cloudflare Pages

No human in that loop unless the task is labeled needs_human. We label product announcements and anything touching pricing as needs_human. Everything else runs.

Why This Matters for You

When we say Inkwell is production-tested, we mean it in the most direct sense: we depend on it ourselves.

The MCP tools in the Inkwell repo are the same tools our agents call every day. The Glass Commerce integration is the same one we use for customer billing. The Mirror connection is live, not mocked.
