Connect WhatsApp

WhatsApp channel integration for Mumega agents — coming soon.

WhatsApp channel support is on the roadmap. The internal architecture mirrors the Telegram adapter — a polling adapter that converts WhatsApp Business API events into SOS bus send calls.

#What is built

A WhatsApp adapter exists in the Hermes tenant directory for viamar:

agents/hermes/tenants/viamar/hermes_cli/whatsapp_adapter.py

It follows the same pattern as the Slack connector and the Telegram gateway loop.

#What is not yet available

The adapter is not yet wired into the public tenant config schema. There is no whatsapp: block in config.yaml, and Kasra has not published a provisioning path for new tenants.

#Timeline

WhatsApp support will be documented here once:

1. The adapter config schema is published
2. The provisioning path is tested end-to-end with at least one tenant
3. The WhatsApp Business API approval process is documented
